What better way to overcome fear than being placed in the wild? For you, your wild might be a different representation than mine. The thing is there are always fears when it comes to change. To move to a foreign land, to grow up, get a new job, open a business, etc. It is terrifying but also full of opportunities. I’m reminded of these opportunities seeing tigers hunt, they take charge of the day because they know that if they remain afraid of what’s out there, they will fade away. The saying that goes; ‘A tiger can’t change its stripes’ is true but it is also true that a tiger adapts to change. So, this painting is a reminder of what taking charge of the day means regardless of our fear of the unknown and possible changes. We must take charge of those fears, and adapt to the changes, or else we will fade away.
