There is such warmth being around a campfire. Watching her dance as she brightens the night sky. The sparks of flames represent the stars touching the earth. The cooking of our marshmallows as we share stories around her. As I watched her and listened to the sounds of nature, the special camp songs that made time with her even greater. She never interrupts even though she dances the night away. She says goodbye as the sun comes up reminding us of the bigger things in life even though it may be considered small. I am thankful that the body of fire taught me that being surrounded by loved ones is the greatest treasure in my life. This painting is my representation of the campfire in my paradise.
